Privacy
Your files never leave your device
The CloudPandas Grid Viewer runs entirely in your browser. When you open, drop, or paste an XML or JSON file, it is parsed and rendered locally on your device. The file content is never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any server.
Data we process
We do not collect personal data through the tool. The only information stored is your theme preference (light or dark), which is kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
Cookies
The tool does not set tracking cookies and does not use third-party trackers.
Hosting
Like any website, our hosting provider may process technical connection data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs for the purpose of delivering and securing the site. This data is not combined with the contents of the files you view.
Local storage
The only thing we keep on your device is a small preference value recording whether you chose light or dark mode. It lives in your browser's local storage, contains no personal data, and is never transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
No analytics or tracking
We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, fingerprint scripts, or third-party trackers within the tool. Because file parsing happens entirely in your browser, the content of the documents you open is technically inaccessible to us.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, and erase personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Since the tool processes no personal data, these rights typically apply only to any email correspondence you send us.
Changes to this notice
We may update this privacy notice to reflect changes to the tool or legal requirements. The current version always applies and is published on this page.
